EPSON EPL-N1600/Duplex Unit Chapter 2 Operating Principles PAPER TRANSPORTATION CONTROL SCANNING DIRECTION IN DUPLEX PRINTING The figure below shows the paper movements in duplex printing mode. The figure below shows the relationship between the main and sub scanning direction and a side of the page printed in duplex printing. The controller sends the image data to the engine according to the printing order of pages, lines (raster lines) on each page and pixels on each line.
