  • Page 6 Warning and Safety instructions Safety with children  Young children must be kept away from the vacuum cleaner un- less they are constantly supervised.  Older children may only use the vacuum cleaner without supervi- sion if they have been shown how to use it in a safe manner. Chil- dren must be able to understand and recognise the possible dangers caused by incorrect operation.

  • Page 10  The AP01/AP02/AP03 battery, the LG01/LG02 charger and the LS03 charger cradle are designed for use with the Miele HS19 va- cuum cleaner. For safety reasons, the vacuum cleaner must not be used with a battery, charger or charger cradle produced by another manufacturer.

    Please dispose of it at your local com- munity waste collection/recycling centre for electrical and electronic appliances, or contact Miele. You are legally obliged to remove any old batteries which are not securely enclosed by the appliance. These must be taken to a suitable col- lection point where they can be handed in free of charge.
