What to do if . . .
Many of the faults you may encounter during everyday use can be easily rectified
yourself. This helps save time and money, because you won't need to call
Customer Service.
The following troubleshooting guide can be used to help address minor problems
without a service call. However, please note the following:

Repairs to electrical appliances should only be carried out by qualified
professionals. Work performed by unqualified persons can place the user at
considerable risk of harm.
No wash program will start
Problem
The display is dark and
the indicator light for
the Start/Stop button
does not come on.
The display prompts
you to enter a pin
code.
The display is dark.

Possible cause
There is no power to
the washer.
The pin code feature is
active.
The display
automatically dims to
save energy (standby).
Remedy
Check whether:
– the cord is plugged in.
– the fuse is in working order.
Enter and confirm the pin
code. De-activate the pin
code if you do not wish the
prompt to appear the next
time the washer is switched
on.
Press any button. This will
bring the display back on.
